George's wedding pics have been sold to People and the British tabloid Hello!  Sources familiar with the sales tell us it was strictly an issue of which mag anted up the most.  People won the North America market and Hello! conquered Europe.

Our sources say ... the money will be going to several human rights charities.  We're told the lion's share is earmarked for the Satellite Sentinel Project -- a charity that monitors the Sudan for war crimes. Clooney is a co-founder of the group, which launched in 2010.

As one source connected to Clooney tells TMZ ... "Every photo in both magazines will be saving a life."

Man beheads woman, claims men from deceased’s village raped his wife

32-year-old Chinedu Nweke (pictured above) has been arrested for beheading 45-year-old Philomina Nwega in Ebonyi State. Nweke claimed he committed the heinous crime to avenge the serial rape of his wife by men in the murdered woman’s village.

According to Sunday Sun, the horrible incident happened on September 6th in Umuzeoka village in Ezza North LGA of  Ebonyi State. Recounting the bizarre tale, Nweke, a farmer, said men from the village had raped his wife severally, alleging that the repeated vicious act led to a miscarriage.

The third edition of one of Nigeria’s biggest music shows ‘The Beat of Lagos’ is set to hold this October and the build-up has been quite interesting.

The year’s edition will however take a new format – and feature more of DJ performances and dancing. Popular Nigerian disc jockey and Chocolate City artiste DJ Caise will champion the turn tables and supply music while respected urban dance group DNMT will take to the stage to entertain guests.

Speaking about guests, about 2000 party poppers are expected to attend the event which will also feature other big names like Wande Coal, Skales, Shaydee, Solid Star, Saeon and more.

Doctor Who Performed Throat Procedure on Joan Rivers Fired

The doctor who performed the endoscopy on Joan Rivers has been fired by the clinic's board. Sources at Yorkville Endoscopy tell us Dr. Lawrence Cohen stepped down after the board asked him to do so. However the board isn't directly blaming him for Joan's death.A rep for the clinic confirmed he was ousted from his position as medical director.

According to Chichinwaafrica ... the board's issue with Cohen is that he allowed Joan's ENT doc to step in and perform an unauthorized procedure. Reportedly, that procedure was a biopsy ... and Joan went into respiratory and cardiac arrest while it was being done.

Cohen is a world renowned gastroenterologist ... and also co-owner of Yorkville. He's been on administrative leave since Joan's procedure on August 28.

He's pictured above smiling with the dead man and his nephew after digging up the body to rebury it in the same grave as the deceased's wife.

The dead man died 23 years ago and had been mummified. It was actually the dead man's niece who asked to take a pic of the corpse and when she shared it on whatsapp, it went viral with several others posting it on
