Man Banished To His Maternal Village On A Wheel Barrow For Committing Sacrilege In Imo State (See Photos)

A local of Ezima town in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, Mr. Charles Ikegwuruka, has been driven in a wheelbarrow into outcast in his maternal home, Isu, in the same nearby government.

Charles was sent into outcast for dragging his more youthful sibling, Mr. Osiwu Ikegwuruka, to the feared Okija place of worship (likewise called Ogwugwummiri Okija) in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Portraying his difficulty to Southern City News, Charles (in his mid-50s) said his sibling (Osiwu) blamed him for making his wife (names withheld) desolate.


It was accumulated that Charles had counseled a local specialist, who let him know that a lady in his family had a "marine spouse and tyke" and would not have the capacity to manage youngsters. The local specialist coordinated that the lady be conveyed to the altar for purging.

Charles, as per a source, later went to Osiwu and let him know what the local specialist said and Osiwu consented to persuade his wife to go for the purging.

"Upon the arrival of the purifying, the local specialist took them to a stream, executed a goat and strangled a fowl. He made spells a requested her to strip exposed for a bathe in the waterway. Osiwu and Charles were there and watched her execute as taught," it was assembled.

It was, nonetheless, learnt that the purging neglected to cure the infertility; rather it drove an emergency in the middle of Charles and Osiwu.

Osiwu reported the improvement to his family, who requested Charles to withdraw the matter from Okija sanctuary. In any case, Charles told the seniors that the altar declined to sanction that the matter be withdrawn.

Charles' family promptly determined that he must ride on a wheelbarrow with palm fronds fixing around his neck to his maternal home and stay there until he withdrew the matter stopped before the feared Okija holy place.

"Our child (Charles) has conferred heresy. We can't wrap up a matter and still take it to a holy place, combined with different barbarities Charles has been submitting," one of the family, who picked not to specified, said .
