French Tourist slaughtered, wife attacked in Ebonyi state

A French couple, Nagnan Denis, 52, and his wife, Nagnan Mee Lavaud Liana, 53, were assaulted by obscure criminals at a spot where they set up a tent in Abomege pivot of Onicha LGA of Ebonyi State on Monday June 1st. The man was slaughtered while the lady was attacked.

Ebonyi state Commissioner of Police, Maigari Dikko while talking on the occurrence, said the casualties were vacationers who flew out through a few nations to get to Nigeria and had gone through numerous states and were making a beeline for Calabar, Cross Rivers state when they made a brief stopover in Ebonyi state.

The French Embassy in Nigeria has been informed and their are arrangements to fly the casualties body to France for internment.
